ThaiBoutiqueHotel.com act as booking agents on behalf of all the hotels, apartments and villas featured on this website and your contract will be made with these accommodation providers. Please read the booking terms and conditions carefully. They apply to all bookings made with ThaiBoutiqueHotel.com and to all members of your party.

your contract with accommodation featured on this website

When you book accommodation, we will send you an e-mail confirmation of your booking and it is at the time that we send this confirmation that a binding contract comes into existence. The date of the contract is the date that appears on the confirmation. The contract is subject to these booking conditions. All booking conditions will apply including cancellation charges. Once the contract is made, the accommodation provider is responsible to you to provide you with what you have booked and you are responsible to pay for it, in each case subject to these booking conditions, and any other terms and conditions specific to the relevant accommodation.

Please note: It is important to check carefully the details of your booking, when you receive it. If you want to cancel or change your booking later, you may have to pay amendment or cancellation charges, which may be as much as the whole accommodation cost. In parties of two or more people, the person who makes the booking, accepts responsibility for making all payments to us for all members of the party. We will send all vouchers and other information to that person who will in turn be responsible for ensuring that the other members of the party are kept fully informed.

Should you wish to make an amendment or cancel your booking, we must receive confirmation by e-mail. We will only accept confirmation from the person that makes the original booking. If you are aged under 18 on the date of departure and your parents or guardians are not travelling with you, they must write to us with their written consent.

You are able to pay our services by using your credit card through our payment gateway partner. We are partnership with ready-epay.com who is internet banking company with associated Bank of Asia a member of “UOB United Oversea Bank” and Trusted with Security SSL 128 Bit from goetrust.

Please note: Your booking may be cancelled, if you fail to make payment on time and you would then be liable to pay the accommodation provider the cancellation charges set out below. Payment for incidental extras (e.g. mini bars, telephone charges, etc.) has to be made directly to the accommodation provider, when you check out.

special requests

If you have any special requests that do not form part of the standard accommodation services as described in this website (for example dietary requirements, cots or room location) please let us know at the time of booking. We will pass on all such requests to the relevant accommodation provider, but unfortunately cannot guarantee that they will be met. Further if the accommodation provider is unable to meet such requests, neither we nor they can have any liability to you in this respect.

if you wish to make changes to your accommodation booking

If you want to change any details of your booking, after we have sent your confirmation, we will do our best to help. However; the accommodation provider has no obligation to make any change, although it will permit you or any member of your party who is prevented from travelling to transfer the booking to someone else, provided you give us reasonable notice of the transfer (see conditions below). You must confirm any change by e-mail. If the accommodation provider is able to make the change, there will be a ThaiBoutiqueHotel.com administration charge of 500 THB in addition to potential charges from the accommodation provider, subject to their terms and conditions.

If you change the number of people booked, the accommodation price will be re-calculated for the new party size. If for example your party is reduced in number, this may mean that accommodation is under-occupied and each of the remainder of your party may have to pay more. If you wish to make any change to your booking while on holiday (e.g. upgrading accommodation or extending your stay), all requests are subject to availability and any extra cost must be paid immediately.

if you cancel your hotel booking

The accommodation provider starts to incur costs for your booking from the time it is confirmed. The closer it is to the time of your planned holiday, the less likely they are to re-sell it. Therefore, if you cancel or amend your booking, a charge has to made and the later the cancellation, the more that charge will be. If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, this must be done by e-mail or call by the person in whose name the booking is invoiced (lead name). Cancellation charges will be calculated as set out below and will be notified to you by invoice within two weeks of cancellation.

  • If notification of cancellation is received after sending the confirmed hotel's voucher : THB 500-nett will be charged for our service charge fee.
  • Low Season Period : May 1 until October 31 for all destinations & May 1 - July 15 and September 16 - December 14 for Samui only.
    • Any cancellations made more than 7 working days* prior to check-in date, 5% of total room price will apply for handling fee.
    • Any cancellations made 7 working days* (or less) prior to check-in date or in the case of NO-SHOW, one night penalty plus handling fee (5%) willl be charged.
    • Amendment need to be made not less than 5 working days* prior to check-in date (in case of emergency, please contact our reservation directly).
    • We will not responsible for any (additional) charges incurred after cancellations/ amendments without confirmation from our side.
  • High SeasonPeriod : January 16 - April 30 and November 1 - December 14 for all destinations & January 16 - April 30 and July 16 -September 15 for Samui only.
    • Any cancellations made more than 15 working days* prior to check-in date, 5% of total room price will apply for handling fee.
    • Any cancellations made 15 working days* (or less) prior to check-in date or in the case of NO-SHOW, one night penalty plus handling fee (5%) willl be charged.
    • Amendment need to be made not less than 10 working days* prior to check-in date (in case of emergency, please contact our reservation directly). We will not responsible for any (additional) charges incurred after cancellations/ amendments without confirmation from our side.
  • Peak SeasonPeriod : December 15 - January 15 / Festive and Holiday period for all deatinations
    • Any cancellations made more than 30 working days* prior to check-in date, two nights penalty plus handling fee (5%) will be charged.
    • Any cancellations made less than 30 working days* prior to check-in date or in the case of NO-SHOW, no refund will be made.
    • Amendment need to be made not less than 15 working days* prior to check-in date (in case of emergency, please contact our reservation directly).
    • We will not responsible for any (additional) charges incurred after cancellations/ amendments without confirmation from our side.
  • If you fail to cancel your reservation, and/or do not check-in to a confirmed hotel, you will be charged of two nights room rate plus Bank Fee 5% will be levied.

    * excludes Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays

Please note : the amendment charges below are only valid if your booking does not require change of hotel (i.e. you are staying at the same hotel and wish to change the room type, board basis, date, duration or number of guests). If you wish to change to another hotel, please call our administration team who will confirm the new cost to you. This will be considered as cancellation and a new booking will be made.

If the accommodation provider makes a change to your booking, we will inform you as soon as possible before your departure, but will have no other liability towards you. No refunds can be given for stays that are ended earlier than planned. ThaiBoutiqueHotel.com will do everything in its power to avoid having to make any changes to any bookings. If in the unlikely event that we are informed by the accommodation owner that they are unable to provide the accommodation which you have booked, we will try to provide you with similar accommodation of equal standard. If we are unable to do this or you prefer not to accept our alternative, you may cancel free of charge.

our responsibility to you for your booking

Because we are acting only as a booking agent we have no liability for any of the accommodation arrangements and in particular no liability for any illness, personal injury, death or loss of any kind, unless caused by our negligence. Any claim for damages for injury, illness or death arising from your stay in the accommodation, must be brought against the owner of the accommodation and will be under the jurisdiction of the law of the country in which the accommodation is based.

complaints procedure

If you have a complaint while you are staying at the accommodation in question, you must inform the accommodation management immediately, in order to give them the chance to resolve the problem. You may lose any right to compensation, if you fail to do so. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, you should contact our representative in the resort. We have representatives in most of our resorts and if the issue still cannot be resolved then you should contact our staff on 0-1984-9914 from the resort. We will act as an intermediary to try and rectify the problem. In the event that we are unable to do so, and you wish to take matters further, you must do so directly with the accommodation provider concerned.

indemnity

When you book accommodation through ThaiBoutiqueHotel.com, you accept responsibility for the proper conduct of yourself and your party during your stay. The accommodation provider reserves the right at any time to terminate (before or after departure) your holiday or that of any member of your party due to your or their misconduct, within their reasonable opinion. Full cancellation charges will then apply and no refund will be given. Furthermore, the accommodation owner shall be under no obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet any costs or expenses you may occur as a result of us terminating your booking, in accordance with this paragraph. If your actions or those of any member of your party cause damage to the accommodation in which you are staying, you agree to fully indemnify us against any claim (including legal costs) made against the accommodation owner. Finally, you are also liable to make a reimbursement to the accommodation provider for any damage caused, before you end your stay.

This encrypts all your personal information including your credit card details, so that it cannot be read as it is sent over the internet. Our SSL certificates are supplied by Thawte. Once your transaction has been completed, your personal information is stored on a secure computer, not on the web server, so it cannot be accessed through the internet.

information used in your booking

When you book we need to know your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit or debit card number and expiry date. This enables us to process the booking. ThaiBoutiqueHotel.com then passes essential booking details to your accommodation in order to confirm your booking.

competitions and promotions

From time to time we may run competitions and promotions, and ask for your name, address and e-mail address in order to administer them and notify the winners. We may use the information we collect to notify you about our services, but will always give you the opportunity not to receive this information or to opt out of receiving additional information at any time using the unsubscribe link above. We may also ask you to give us your opinion on a subject or submit recommendations, and may publish these on our site. We will not publish your name or comment without your permission. site tracking We use tracking software to monitor the visitors to our site and to help us to improve the design and content of the site. This software does not capture any personal information.

disclosure to third parties

ThaiBoutiqueHotel.com never discloses personal information about its customers to third parties without prior consent, except in the case of an emergency or if we are legally obliged to do so. we will not sell or rent any personally identifiable information we receive from you. ThaiBoutiqueHotel.com may provide statistics about our customers, sales and booking patterns and related information to third parties, but these will not contain any personally identifying information.
